Loryn Studer, PT, DPT

Loryn graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Oregon State University Cascades in Bend, Oregon. Prior to graduate school, she studied at Portland State University and OHSU’s School of Public Health, where she received a bachelor's in Public Health Education.

 

Throughout her training, Loryn has been passionate about addressing health disparities and caring for individuals with complex medical health profiles.

Loryn is a Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist and has a passion for working with neurodivergent individuals. Part of her training was spent at the OHSU Long Covid clinic. While at OHSU, she initiated review and revision of the OHSU Long Covid protocol, which was then implemented by physical therapists at OHSU and affiliated health systems.

Loryn has experience treating a large variety of impairments, including POTS, EDS, fibromyalgia, cerebral palsy, cardiovascular and pulmonary conditions.

​

Loryn prioritizes providing individualized care based on the needs of each individual. Care coordination for a holistic approach is the foundation of how she treats. Areas of continuing education include: positioning for wheelchair and bedtime, chronic pain management, pelvic floor physical therapy, primary care physical therapy, POTS, and Long Covid treatment. Providing specialty care to the central Oregon community in order to decrease the burden of traveling on families is what brought Loryn to Central Oregon. She is eager to share her services with the community and to help all thrive here.

Outside of work Loryn enjoys spending time with her dog outdoors, being physically active, making arts and crafts, and cooking.
